- Assist lead teachers in creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans for infants and toddlers.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow.
- Collaborate with experienced teachers and staff to create a positive and enriching experience for students.
- Support and facilitate the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of infants and toddlers.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about students' progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Encourage and model positive behavior and social skills for young children.
- Provide individualized attention and support to children with special needs or challenges.
- Assist in daily routines, including meal and nap times, diaper changes, and outdoor play.
- Continuously observe and assess children's development and communicate any concerns to lead teachers.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Adhere to Texas Tech University's policies and procedures, as well as state licensing regulations.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the quality of care and education provided to young children.
Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Early Childhood Education Or A Related Field.
Previous Experience Working With Infants And Toddlers In A Childcare Or Educational Setting.
Knowledge Of Child Development And Best Practices For Promoting Growth In This Age Group.
Familiarity With Texas State Regulations And Standards For Infant/Toddler Care.
