  1. Assist lead teachers in creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans for infants and toddlers.
  2. Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow.
  3. Collaborate with experienced teachers and staff to create a positive and enriching experience for students.
  4. Support and facilitate the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of infants and toddlers.
  5. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  6. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about students' progress, behavior, and any concerns.
  7. Encourage and model positive behavior and social skills for young children.
  8. Provide individualized attention and support to children with special needs or challenges.
  9. Assist in daily routines, including meal and nap times, diaper changes, and outdoor play.
  10. Continuously observe and assess children's development and communicate any concerns to lead teachers.
  11. Attend and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  12. Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  13. Adhere to Texas Tech University's policies and procedures, as well as state licensing regulations.
  14. Continuously strive to improve and enhance the quality of care and education provided to young children.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Early Childhood Education Or A Related Field.

  • Previous Experience Working With Infants And Toddlers In A Childcare Or Educational Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Child Development And Best Practices For Promoting Growth In This Age Group.

  • Familiarity With Texas State Regulations And Standards For Infant/Toddler Care.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, As Well As A Nurturing And Patient Demeanor.
