  1. Conduct outreach and recruitment efforts to attract potential undergraduate students to Texas State University.
  2. Build relationships and maintain communication with high schools, community colleges, and other organizations to promote the university.
  3. Offer guidance and support to prospective students and their families throughout the admissions process.
  4. Review and evaluate applications, transcripts, and other materials to make admissions decisions.
  5. Stay informed and up-to-date on university policies, procedures, and programs to accurately advise and assist students.
  6. Plan and execute on-campus recruitment events and activities, including open houses, information sessions, and campus tours.
  7. Collaborate with other university departments to support the enrollment and retention of students.
  8. Utilize data and analytics to identify recruitment trends and improve recruitment strategies.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with alumni, faculty, and staff to assist with student recruitment efforts.
  10. Represent the university at college fairs, conferences, and other events to promote the institution.
  11. Adhere to ethical standards and best practices in college admissions and recruitment.
  12. Contribute to the diversity and inclusivity efforts of the university by actively recruiting and supporting underrepresented and marginalized groups.
  13. Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies to promote the university and its programs.
  14. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  15. Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by the admissions office or university administration.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Counseling, Education, Or Human Resources.

  • Experience In College Admissions, Preferably At A Large University.

  • Knowledge Of Texas State University And Its Admissions Requirements And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Guide Potential Students And Their Families.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage A High Volume Of Applications And Documents.
