Job Description

Texas State University seeks an outstanding Simulation Lab Information Specialist to join our Simulation Lab team. We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about technology and is eager to contribute to our dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. We are looking for an individual who is able to work independently and collaboratively as needed.The successful candidate will have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with experience in simulation lab operations, hardware, and software support. They must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work with a diverse range of personnel. The ability to interpret technical specifications and provide solutions to technical issues is a must. A high level of creativity and initiative are required, as well as the ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects. The successful candidate must also be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to work with minimal supervision.
