  1. Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities for the university.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with funding agencies and organizations.
  3. Collaborate with university faculty and staff to develop grant proposals that align with the university's mission and goals.
  4. Write and edit grant proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funding requirements.
  5. Manage the grant application process, including submission and follow-up communications.
  6. Monitor and track grant funding, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
  7. Provide guidance and support to university departments in developing and managing their grant-funded projects.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to grant writing and funding opportunities.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized records of all grant-related activities.
  10. Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including university leadership, faculty, and external funding agencies.
  11. Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to enhance grant writing skills and stay informed of university policies and procedures.
  12. Collaborate with other members of the Grants and Contracts department to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  13. Adhere to all ethical standards and guidelines in grant writing and research.
  14. Represent the university at conferences and events related to grant writing and funding opportunities.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the university by actively seeking out and securing funding for important initiatives and projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Grant Writing And Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Bachelor's Or Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Finance, Business, Or Public Administration.

  • Strong Analytical And Research Skills, With The Ability To Gather And Synthesize Data From Various Sources To Support Grant Proposals.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Familiarity With Grant Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Including Federal And State Funding Agencies, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of The Grant Application Process.
