- Develop and maintain positive relationships with potential funders and grant-making organizations.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff across various departments to identify and prioritize funding needs and opportunities.
- Write compelling grant proposals that effectively communicate the university's mission, goals, and impact.
- Ensure that all grant applications are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and in compliance with funder guidelines.
- Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.
- Monitor and track grant awards, reporting requirements, and deadlines.
- Work closely with the university's finance department to ensure proper budgeting and financial reporting for all grant-funded projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in grant funding requirements.
- Serve as a resource for faculty and staff, providing guidance and support on grant-related matters.
- Collaborate with the university's development team to identify and pursue potential donors and grant opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all grant activities, including submissions, awards, and outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with university leadership to provide updates on grant activity and funding opportunities.
- Represent the university at grant-related conferences, workshops, and events as needed.
- Uphold the university's values and mission while representing the institution in all grant-related activities.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Or Business Administration.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Grant Writing And Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Federal, State, And Private Funding Sources And Regulations Related To Grant Management.
Excellent Organizational, Project Management, And Communication Skills.
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Faculty, Staff, And Community Partners, To Develop And Implement Successful Grant Proposals And Programs.
