We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our faculty as a Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) professor. As a faculty member in our prestigious MLS program, you will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of laboratory professionals through teaching, research, and service.   1. Teach courses in the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program, including laboratory techniques, procedures, and theoretical concepts.
  2. Develop and implement curriculum that meets program standards and objectives.
  3. Conduct research and scholarly activities in the field of medical laboratory science.
  4. Provide mentorship and guidance to students in the MLS program.
  5. Assist in the recruitment and retention of students in the MLS program.
  6. Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall quality and reputation of the MLS program.
  7. Participate in departmental and university committees and meetings.
  8. Maintain an active presence in the field of medical laboratory science through professional development and involvement in relevant organizations and conferences.
  9. Lead and participate in community outreach and service activities related to medical laboratory science.
  10. Serve as a role model for students, exemplifying professionalism, integrity, and dedication to the field of MLS.
  11. Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of medical laboratory science and incorporate them into teaching and research.
  12. Provide guidance and support to students in their career development and job placement.
  13. Assist in the development and maintenance of partnerships and collaborations with healthcare institutions and industry partners.
  14. Adhere to all university policies and procedures, as well as professional and ethical standards in teaching, research, and service.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree Or Higher In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Clinical Laboratory Practice.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) By A Recognized Accrediting Agency, Such As Ascp Or Amt.

  • Proven Track Record Of Teaching And Mentoring Students In A University Setting.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Conduct Research And Publish In Peer-Reviewed Journals In The Field Of Medical Laboratory Science.
