- Develop and teach courses in Geography and Environmental Studies to undergraduate and graduate students
- Conduct research in the field of Geography and Environmental Studies, leading to publications and presentations at conferences
- Mentor and advise students in their academic and career pursuits in Geography and Environmental Studies
- Participate in departmental and university committees and initiatives related to Geography and Environmental Studies
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary courses and programs
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field of Geography and Environmental Studies and incorporate them into teaching and research
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds
- Participate in community outreach and engagement activities to promote the importance of Geography and Environmental Studies in society
- Support and contribute to the department's goals and objectives, including maintaining accreditation standards
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
A Doctoral Degree In Geography, Environmental Studies, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Teaching Experience At The University Level.
A Strong Record Of Research And Publication In The Field Of Geography Or Environmental Studies.
Demonstrated Expertise In Utilizing And Integrating Technology In The Classroom.
Familiarity With Current Trends And Issues In Geography And Environmental Studies, Particularly In The Texas Region.
