- Develop and implement comprehensive programs and initiatives to support student success and retention.
- Collaborate with various departments and resources on campus to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to student success.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students, providing guidance and support for academic and personal development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff to promote a positive and inclusive campus community.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, including academic advising, career counseling, and referrals to campus resources.
- Develop and facilitate workshops and seminars to enhance student success in areas such as time management, study skills, and goal setting.
- Monitor and analyze student success data and make recommendations for improvements and changes to programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to identify and support at-risk students and develop strategies for retention.
- Serve as a liaison between students and university departments to address any issues or concerns related to student success.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and trends in student success and higher education.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student interactions and progress.
- Act as a positive role model for students and promote a culture of academic excellence and personal growth.
- Represent the university at events and conferences related to student success.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote student success initiatives and resources to the campus community.
- Stay informed on state and national trends in student success and implement innovative strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Collaborate with academic advising and retention teams to ensure a seamless transition for students from admission to graduation.
- Assist in the planning and execution of new student orientation and other events and programs aimed at supporting student success.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Higher Education, Counseling, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Academic Advising Or Student Services.
Strong Understanding Of Student Success Initiatives And Strategies.
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Faculty, Staff, And Students To Promote Student Success.
