  4. Provide academic and career guidance to students and serve as a mentor and advisor.
  5. Conduct research and publish scholarly work in the field of criminal justice and criminology.
  6. Collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary courses and programs.
  7. Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of criminal justice and criminology and incorporate them into teaching and course material.
  8. Engage in service activities, such as serving on committees and participating in professional organizations.
  9. Foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  10. Contribute to the overall academic mission and goals of the university through teaching, research, and service.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Criminal Justice, Criminology, Or A Related Field.

  • Prior Teaching Experience At The Undergraduate Level In Criminal Justice Or Criminology.

  • A Strong Record Of Research And Publication In The Field Of Criminal Justice And Criminology.

  • Experience Working In Or With The Criminal Justice System, Such As Law Enforcement, Corrections, Or Legal Advocacy.

  • Knowledge Of Current Trends And Issues In Criminal Justice And Criminology, Including Diversity, Social Justice, And Ethics.
