- Teach courses in Translation and Professional Spanish at the undergraduate and graduate level.
- Develop and implement innovative and engaging curriculum for the Translation and Professional Spanish program.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly work in the field of translation and Spanish language instruction.
- Mentor and advise students in the Translation and Professional Spanish program.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Translation and Professional Spanish program.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
- Serve on departmental and university committees as assigned.

A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Spanish Translation Or A Related Field, Such As Linguistics Or Translation Studies.
Native Or Near-Native Proficiency In Spanish And English, With A Strong Understanding Of Translation Principles And Techniques.
Demonstrated Experience And Expertise In Professional Spanish Translation, Including In Areas Such As Legal, Medical, Or Business Translation.
Previous Teaching Experience At The College Level, Preferably In Translation And/Or Spanish Language Courses.
Ability To Contribute To The Department's Research And Service Activities, And A Commitment To Promoting Diversity And Inclusion In The Classroom And University Community.
