  1. Troubleshoot technical issues related to Windows operating systems and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Proactively monitor and maintain the health and performance of our desktop infrastructure.
  3. Plan, design, and implement innovative solutions to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our desktop environment.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any potential conflicts or compatibility issues.
  5. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the Windows operating system and recommend relevant updates and upgrades to enhance our systems.
  6. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and configuration guides.
  7. Provide technical guidance and support to end-users on Windows-related matters.
  8. Ensure the security and integrity of our desktop infrastructure by implementing appropriate security protocols and procedures.
  9. Manage and maintain hardware and software inventory for our desktop systems.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent technical issues outside of regular business hours.
  11. Mentor and train junior members of the team on Windows best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
  12. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of any issues or outages.
  13. Continually evaluate and optimize our desktop infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  14. Identify and escalate any potential risks or vulnerabilities in our desktop environment to senior management.
  15. Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Windows Operating Systems: A Windows Desktop Engineer At Tesla Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Windows Operating Systems, Including Windows 10, Windows Server, And Active Directory.
