- Develop and maintain simulation tools for Tesla's Autopilot system
- Collaborate with the Autopilot team to understand their needs and requirements for simulation tools
- Design and implement efficient and user-friendly tools to support the development of autonomous driving technology
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues with the simulation tools
- Continuously improve and optimize the simulation tools to enhance their performance and functionality
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in simulation technology to ensure Tesla remains at the forefront of innovation
- Work closely with other engineers and teams to integrate the simulation tools into the overall Autopilot system
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and users of the simulation tools
- Conduct regular testing and maintenance of the simulation tools to ensure they are functioning properly
- Document the development and maintenance process of the simulation tools for future reference
- Contribute to the overall success of the Autopilot team by actively participating in meetings and providing valuable insights and suggestions.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Development And Testing, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.
Strong Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C++, Python, And Matlab.
Experience With Simulation Tools Such As Carsim, Simulink, And Unreal Engine.
Familiarity With Autopilot Systems And Technologies, Including Radar, Cameras, And Lidar.
