Job Description

  1. Develop and implement training programs for the Semi Service team, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary technical knowledge and skills to provide exceptional support for Tesla's Semi trucks.
  2. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to educate service team members on the latest technologies and techniques related to electric vehicles and Tesla's products.
  3. Collaborate with other departments within Tesla to stay up-to-date on new products, features, and technologies, and incorporate them into training materials for the Semi Service team.
  4. Monitor the progress and performance of service team members and provide constructive feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement.
  5. Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to support the training program.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in training and development, and make recommendations for improvements to the training program.
  7. Work closely with the hiring team to identify training needs for new hires and develop onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition into the Semi Service team.
  8. Collaborate with other trainers and subject matter experts to develop and deliver specialized training for specific roles or tasks within the service team.
  9. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging team members to ask questions, share knowledge, and continuously improve their skills.
  10. Serve as a role model for the Tesla culture, showcasing a passion for sustainability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Technical Knowledge: A Technical Trainer At Tesla Must Possess A Deep Understanding And Knowledge Of The Company's Products, Services, And Technology. This Includes Expertise In Electric Vehicles, Charging Infrastructure, And Energy Storage Solutions.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To A Diverse Audience Is Crucial For A Technical Trainer. This Includes Delivering Engaging Presentations, Writing Clear And Concise Training Materials, And Conducting Hands-On Demonstrations.

  • Training And Teaching Experience: A Successful Technical Trainer Must Have Previous Experience In Delivering Technical Training And Teaching In A Classroom Or Workshop Setting. This Includes Developing Course Curriculum, Conducting Assessments, And Providing Feedback To Trainees.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: As A Technical Trainer, One Must Be Able To Think On Their Feet And Troubleshoot Technical Issues That May Arise During Training Sessions. This Requires Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Adapt To Unexpected Situations.

  • Customer Focus: Tesla Places A Strong Emphasis On Customer Satisfaction, And A Technical Trainer Must Be Able To Deliver Training That Meets The Needs Of Both Internal And External Customers. This Requires A Customer-Centric Mindset And The Ability To Provide Excellent Service And Support.
