  1. Lead and manage technical projects related to manufacturing processes, from conception to implementation, ensuring their successful completion within the given timeline and budget.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and supply chain to identify project requirements, develop project plans, and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  3. Utilize strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of engineers, technicians, and other staff members involved in the project.
  4. Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to senior management on project progress, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
  5. Continuously monitor project performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
  6. Identify and resolve any technical issues or roadblocks that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  7. Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other relevant documentation.
  8. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, utilizing your expertise to drive process improvements and enhance efficiency.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology, and apply them to improve Tesla's manufacturing processes.
  10. Act as a liaison between the Factory Engineering team and other departments within Tesla, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  11. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all project activities.
  12. Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and project management skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Technical Program Manager In Factory Engineering Should Possess A Strong Technical Background, Particularly In Areas Such As Mechanical, Electrical, Or Industrial Engineering.

  • Previous Experience In Project Management: Tesla's Factory Engineering Projects Require A High Level Of Organization And Coordination. Candidates Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Engineering Environment.

  • Familiarity With Lean Manufacturing Principles: Tesla Is Known For Its Efficient And Innovative Production Processes. A Technical Program Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Lean Manufacturing Principles And How To Implement Them In A Factory Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Factory Automation And Robotics: As Tesla Continues To Automate Its Production Processes, It Is Crucial For A Technical Program Manager To Have A Strong Understanding Of Factory Automation And Robotics. Experience With Implementing And Managing Automated Systems Is Highly Desirable.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: A Technical Program Manager Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Engineers And Technicians, As Well As Collaborating With Other Departments Within Tesla. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
