Supply Chain Manager, Construction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our construction team at Tesla. - Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with Tesla's overall business objectives and sustainability goals.
- Oversee the entire supply chain process for construction projects, from procurement to delivery and installation.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery terms.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate forecasting of construction material and equipment needs.
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking and managing inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, identifying opportunities to improve supply chain processes and drive innovation.
- Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the team's success.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and transparency in supply chain processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and Tesla's ethical standards in all supply chain activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Construction Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Construction Materials And Processes, As Well As Supply Chain Best Practices.
Experience In Managing Vendor Relationships, Negotiating Contracts, And Ensuring Timely Delivery Of Materials.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team To Meet Project Deadlines And Maintain Quality Standards.
