  1. Develop and maintain software solutions for Tesla's navigation system to ensure a seamless and efficient driving experience for customers.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  3. Design, implement, and test new features and enhancements for the navigation system.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  5. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  6. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to navigation systems.
  7. Continuously optimize and improve the performance of the navigation system.
  8. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
  9. Work closely with product managers and designers to ensure the navigation system meets user requirements and design specifications.
  10. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise and support.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party services and technologies into the navigation system.
  12. Participate in the planning, estimation, and prioritization of development tasks.
  13. Effectively communicate project progress and challenges to stakeholders.
  14. Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work within given deadlines.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the navigation system to provide the best user experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum 5 Years Of Experience Working As A Software Engineer, With A Focus On Maps And Navigation Technologies.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And C++.

  • Strong Understanding Of Geospatial Data And Mapping Technologies, Including Gps, Gis, And Routing Algorithms.

  • Extensive Experience Working With Mapping Apis And Services, Such As Google Maps, Mapbox, Or Openstreetmap.
