Sr Technical Accountant

Tesla is looking for an experienced and passionate Sr Technical Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.The Sr Technical Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and providing strategic guidance on accounting and financial reporting processes, as well as managing the day-to-day and month-end close activities. The successful candidate must have an in-depth understanding of US GAAP, SOX and other relevant accounting standards and should have experience working with multiple entities.We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least 5 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the manufacturing industry. CPA and/or public accounting experience is a plus. The candidate must possess strong technical accounting skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, and an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes.
