Sr Data Engineer

Tesla is looking for a Sr Data Engineer who is passionate about data and analytics and has the drive to contribute to our mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing data pipelines and analytics to drive data-driven decisions and strategic initiatives.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You must also possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong knowledge of data engineering principles, and experience working with databases, ETLs, and data warehouses. Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive is also preferred.Ideally, you possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop sound data engineering solutions.
