- Develop and implement innovative packaging solutions for Tesla's electric vehicles, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.
- Lead and manage packaging projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing, to ensure packaging solutions meet all requirements and specifications.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in packaging technology.
- Continuously evaluate and improve packaging processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including packaging specifications and instructions, for all Tesla vehicles.
- Identify and address potential packaging issues and provide solutions to ensure safe and secure transportation of vehicles.
- Manage relationships with packaging suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best quality and cost for Tesla.
- Mentor and train junior packaging engineers to develop their skills and knowledge within the team.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure packaging solutions comply with all applicable standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze packaging performance metrics, report findings, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in packaging and make recommendations for their implementation in Tesla's packaging strategies.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Packaging Design, Development, And Testing.
Proficiency In Cad Software And Experience With Packaging Design Software.
Extensive Knowledge Of Packaging Materials, Processes, And Regulations.
Strong Project Management And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally And Lead A Team.
