- Develop and implement advanced algorithms for optical systems in Tesla's vehicles.

- Utilize your expertise in image processing, computer vision, and machine learning to solve complex problems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in optical technology to continuously improve Tesla's algorithms.
- Develop and maintain documentation for algorithms and their performance.
- Test and validate algorithms to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during algorithm development and implementation.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on algorithm development best practices.
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with hardware and software teams to integrate algorithms into Tesla's products.
- Drive innovation and contribute to the overall vision of Tesla's algorithm development.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality results within specified deadlines.
- Continuously improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Represent Tesla as a technical expert in conferences and other industry events.
Extensive Experience In Developing And Implementing Complex Algorithms For Optical Systems, Including Experience With Ray Tracing, Wavefront Analysis, And Image Processing.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Commonly Used In Optical Engineering, Such As C++, Python, And Matlab.
Strong Understanding Of Optical Principles And Their Application To Automotive Systems, With A Focus On Lidar And Camera Technology.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams In The Development Of Advanced Algorithms For Optical Systems.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Analyze And Optimize Algorithms For Performance And Efficiency.
