- Develop and implement procurement strategies for workplace-related goods and services in the designated region.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, and manage vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate procurement needs.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient procurement of goods and services.
- Manage and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and implement innovative procurement solutions to optimize processes.
- Train and mentor junior procurement team members.
- Maintain a strong commitment to sustainability and seek out environmentally-friendly procurement options.
- Represent Tesla in a professional and ethical manner in all interactions with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Adhere to budgetary constraints and make strategic decisions to achieve cost savings.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure procurement needs are met.
- Continuously monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to procurement activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Regional Or Global Capacity.
Strong Negotiation Skills And Experience Sourcing And Managing Supplier Relationships.
Proven Track Record Of Driving Cost Savings And Operational Efficiencies Within A Procurement Organization.
Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally And Manage A Team.
