
Product Manager, PLM Platform Operations

- Lead the development and implementation of the PLM platform, ensuring it meets the needs of Tesla's product development processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and supply chain professionals, to gather requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify industry trends and best practices in PLM systems, and make recommendations for enhancements and updates to the platform.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for the PLM platform, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget.
- Work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot any technical issues and ensure smooth functioning of the PLM platform.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators and metrics to assess the effectiveness of the PLM platform and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise and resources for the PLM platform.
- Train and support users on the PLM platform, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and resources to utilize the platform effectively.
- Act as a subject matter expert for PLM systems, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Continuously assess and evaluate the PLM platform, making recommendations for updates and enhancements to ensure it meets the evolving needs of Tesla's product development processes.
- Stay up to date on industry developments and advancements in PLM systems, and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies and processes into the platform.
- Take ownership of any issues or challenges related to the PLM platform, and work proactively to address and resolve them.
- Contribute to the overall strategy of the PLM platform, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Embody Tesla's mission and values, and act as an ambassador for the company in all interactions and communications related to the PLM platform.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Engineering, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Product Management, Preferably In A Technology Or Automotive Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Product Lifecycle Management (Plm) Systems And Processes.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Launching Complex Projects In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Influence Cross-Functional Teams.
