- Design and develop power electronics systems for Tesla's electric vehicles.
- Integrate and validate power electronics components and subsystems into vehicle systems.
- Develop test plans and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of power electronics systems.
- Conduct performance and durability testing of power electronics systems, identifying and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of power electronics systems into vehicle designs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and trends in power electronics technology, implementing new techniques and approaches as needed.
- Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and identify any potential roadblocks.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the design and testing of power electronics systems.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and improve validation processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on power electronics system integration and validation techniques.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and reliability of power electronics components.
- Provide technical support to production and service teams for power electronics systems.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all work and test results.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver projects within budget.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field, With A Strong Emphasis On Power Electronics.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Power Electronics System Integration, Validation, And Testing.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience With High Voltage Power Electronics Systems, Including Inverters, Converters, And Motor Drives.
Proficiency In Using Simulation And Modeling Tools Such As Matlab, Simulink, And Plecs.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment With Tight Deadlines.
