  1. Design and develop firmware for Tesla's Drive Inverters, utilizing a strong understanding of power electronics and embedded systems.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the firmware meets performance, reliability, and safety standards.
  3. Identify and troubleshoot firmware issues, working towards efficient and effective resolutions.
  4. Participate in the development and implementation of new firmware features and functionality.
  5. Conduct thorough testing and validation of firmware to ensure functionality and reliability.
  6. Stay up-to-date with new developments and trends in power electronics and embedded systems to continuously improve firmware designs.
  7. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware and hardware components.
  8. Communicate project progress and updates to team members and management.
  9. Contribute to the development and maintenance of firmware coding standards and best practices.
  10. Assist in the training and mentoring of junior firmware engineers.
  11. Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all firmware designs and developments.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve firmware processes and procedures.
  14. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of necessary components.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Embedded Firmware Development For Power Electronics Systems, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.

  • Strong Background In Power Electronics And Motor Control, Including Experience With Drive Inverters.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C/C++, Python, And Assembly.

  • Experience With Real-Time Operating Systems (Rtos) And Development Tools, Such As Matlab/Simulink And Labview.
