  1. Conduct pipe stress analysis using industry-standard software to ensure the safety and efficiency of Tesla's electric vehicles.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential design improvements and implement them in the vehicle's piping system.
  3. Utilize your expertise in mechanical engineering to provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  4. Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the reliability and durability of the piping system.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in pipe stress analysis to continuously improve and enhance Tesla's processes.
  6. Work closely with suppliers to select appropriate materials and components for the piping system, considering factors such as sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
  7. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including stress analysis reports and design specifications.
  8. Participate in design reviews and provide critical feedback to optimize the design for efficiency and safety.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to pipe stress analysis, working closely with the design and production teams.
  10. Proactively identify potential risks and provide recommendations for improvement to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert for pipe stress analysis and provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.
  12. Contribute to the overall goal of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy by consistently delivering high-quality and innovative solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Pipe Stress Analysis And Design

  • Proficiency In Industry-Standard Software Such As Caesar Ii And Asme Codes

  • Familiarity With Oil And Gas Industry And Related Standards And Regulations

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment
