  1. Conduct research and analysis to identify the most efficient and reliable thermal systems for electric vehicles.
  2. Design and develop new thermal systems for Tesla vehicles, taking into consideration factors such as performance, efficiency, and cost.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate thermal systems into vehicle designs.
  4. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed and accurate 3D models and drawings.
  5. Perform simulations and testing to evaluate the performance and functionality of thermal systems.
  6. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges related to thermal systems and propose solutions.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies and materials into thermal system designs.
  8. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations in the design and implementation of thermal systems.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and progress reports on thermal system design.
  10. Continuously improve and optimize thermal system designs to enhance vehicle performance and efficiency.
  11. Manage and maintain all documentation and records related to thermal system designs.
  12. Participate in meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations with colleagues and senior management.
  13. Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team, sharing knowledge and expertise in thermal and fluid mechanics.
  14. Represent Tesla as a subject matter expert in thermal systems at industry conferences and events.
  15. Uphold the company's mission and values in all aspects of the job, striving to make a positive impact on the world through sustainable energy solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Strong Understanding Of Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, And Heat Transfer Principles.

  • Proficiency In Cad Software, Such As Solidworks Or Autocad, For Creating Detailed Design Drawings.

  • Experience With Thermal Analysis And Simulation Software, Such As Ansys Or Comsol.

  • Knowledge Of Automotive Design Standards And Regulations, Including Safety And Emissions Requirements.
