  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for sourcing and managing the supply of custom silicon components for Tesla's electric vehicles.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and terms, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
  3. Continuously monitor market trends and supplier performance to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality custom silicon components.
  5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs while maintaining high levels of quality and reliability.
  6. Lead supplier performance evaluations, track key performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement to ensure supplier accountability.
  7. Manage and maintain supplier relationships, including conducting regular meetings, resolving issues, and promoting collaboration and innovation.
  8. Stay current on industry best practices and advancements in custom silicon technology to drive innovation and maintain Tesla's competitive edge.
  9. Develop and maintain a robust risk management plan to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other team members on supply chain best practices and processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Global Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Semiconductor Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Custom Silicon Manufacturing Processes And Supply Chain Logistics.

  • Experience In Negotiating And Managing Contracts With Suppliers, Including Cost, Quality, And Delivery Terms.

  • Knowledge Of Global Trade Regulations And Compliance Requirements For The Import/Export Of Semiconductor Materials.
