  1. Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures in accordance with Tesla's standards and relevant regulations.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  3. Create and maintain a comprehensive safety training program for all employees.
  4. Investigate and report on any workplace incidents, accidents, or near misses.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, including incident reports, training records, and safety data sheets.
  8. Monitor and analyze EHS metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  9. Communicate and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
  10. Serve as a resource for employees regarding EHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
  11. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  12. Assist with obtaining necessary permits and licenses related to EHS.
  13. Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  14. Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
  15. Support any other EHS initiatives and projects as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Automotive Or Manufacturing Industry.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations And Osha Standards.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Ehs Policies And Procedures.

  • Ability To Conduct Risk Assessments, Develop Safety Plans, And Implement Corrective Actions To Ensure Compliance And Promote A Safe Work Environment.
