Job Description

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain environmental health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Advise and provide guidance to management and employees on environmental health and safety matters.
  4. Keep up-to-date with new and emerging environmental health and safety regulations and ensure company compliance.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential environmental health and safety risks.
  6. Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents related to environmental health and safety.
  7. Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  8. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on best practices for maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
  9. Monitor and track key performance indicators related to environmental health and safety to identify areas for improvement.
  10. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure company policies and procedures align with all relevant laws and regulations.
  11. Foster a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.
  12. Maintain effective communication and partnerships with internal stakeholders to promote environmental health and safety initiatives.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on environmental health and safety matters and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.
  14. Collaborate with external consultants and vendors to develop and implement environmental health and safety programs.
  15. Continuously assess and improve environmental health and safety processes and procedures to ensure the well-being of employees and the environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Health And Safety, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations And Guidelines, Including Osha And Epa Standards.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Address Potential Safety Hazards And Environmental Risks.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Train Employees On Safety And Environmental Policies And Procedures.
