  1. Oversee all aspects of construction projects for our R&D facilities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  2. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and provide regular progress reports to upper management.
  3. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design and construction plans meet Tesla's specifications and safety standards.
  4. Manage and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the best value for Tesla.
  5. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, finance, and legal, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  6. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  7. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  8. Train and mentor junior project managers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  9. Utilize innovative and sustainable construction techniques to align with Tesla's mission of clean energy and environmental responsibility.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, and make recommendations for incorporating new technology into construction processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Construction Management: A Degree In A Relevant Field Provides The Necessary Technical Knowledge And Skills Required For This Position.

  • Experience In Project Management: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Large Construction Projects, Preferably In The Automotive Or Technology Industry, Is Necessary For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of R&D Processes: A Strong Understanding Of Research And Development Processes, As Well As Experience In Managing R&D Projects, Is Essential For This Position.

  • Leadership And Communication Skills: A Successful Construction Project Manager At Tesla Must Have Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Communicate With Stakeholders.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Tesla Is Known For Its Fast-Paced And Innovative Work Environment. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Thrive In A Dynamic And Constantly Evolving Atmosphere.
