  1. Lead the commissioning process for all Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) installations, ensuring that all systems are fully functional and meet Tesla's quality and safety standards.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, and project management to develop comprehensive commissioning plans and schedules.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections and tests of all BESS components to identify and resolve any technical issues or deficiencies.
  4. Develop commissioning procedures and protocols to accurately and efficiently test the performance and functionality of BESS systems.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process, utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  6. Review and analyze commissioning data to ensure that all BESS systems are operating within design parameters and are meeting project requirements.
  7. Train and mentor junior commissioning engineers on best practices and procedures for BESS commissioning.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all commissioning activities, including test results, equipment calibration, and project progress.
  9. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders including customers, contractors, and internal teams to provide updates on commissioning progress and address any concerns or issues.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in energy storage technology to continually improve and enhance commissioning processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Commissioning Battery Energy Storage Systems

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Battery Energy Storage Systems

  • Proficiency In Programming And Troubleshooting Control Systems

  • Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment, With Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
