Associate General Counsel, EHS

Tesla is seeking an exceptional Associate General Counsel, EHS to join our team. This individual will be an integral part of our Legal and EHS organizations, providing valuable legal and compliance advice and guidance on matters related to the environment, health, and safety. The successful candidate will have a strong background in EHS law and regulations, a proven ability to manage, investigate, and resolve EHS matters, and a commitment to fostering a culture of compliance.The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree and at least 8 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, as well as a strong understanding of the legal issues surrounding environment, health, and safety. Knowledge of state-level and federal EHS regulations is also required. An understanding of the manufacturing and automotive industry is preferred.This position requires a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate must possess a strong sense of integrity and ethics and the demonstrated ability to balance business objectives with legal and compliance requirements.
