  1. Promote a culture of safety and sustainability in all construction projects at Tesla.
  2. Identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  4. Continuously improve EHS practices within construction teams.
  5. Communicate effectively with construction teams to provide guidance and support on EHS matters.
  6. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness of EHS practices.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in construction safety.
  9. Collaborate with other EHS specialists to develop and implement company-wide policies and procedures.
  10. Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics to track progress and identify areas of concern.
  11. Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities.
  13. Represent Tesla in interactions with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.
  14. Provide support during construction project planning and design to ensure EHS considerations are addressed.
  15. Act as a role model for EHS practices and promote a positive safety culture throughout the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Construction Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Construction Safety, Preferably In The Automotive Or Manufacturing Industry.

  • Certification In Occupational Health And Safety (E.g. Osha 30-Hour Or Equivalent).

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Safety Regulations And Standards.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols.
