  1. Oversee and manage the administration of Tesla's 401(k) plan, including enrollment, contributions, distributions, and record-keeping.
  2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and monitor changes in laws and regulations related to retirement benefits.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service to employees, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and educating them on the 401(k) plan.
  4. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee contributions and employer match.
  5. Review plan documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure accuracy and make recommendations for updates or changes as needed.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with plan custodians, record-keepers, and other vendors to ensure smooth operation of the 401(k) plan.
  7. Prepare and distribute communications and educational materials to promote employee understanding and participation in the 401(k) plan.
  8. Conduct regular audits of the 401(k) plan to ensure data integrity and compliance with policies and procedures.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in retirement benefits, and make recommendations for improvements to the 401(k) plan.
  10. Train and mentor other members of the HR team on 401(k) plan administration and related processes.
  11. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of plan data.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with privacy laws.
  13. Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the 401(k) plan administration process.
  14. Represent Tesla in a professional and positive manner, both internally and externally, at all times.
  15. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Retirement Plan Administration, Preferably With Experience In 401(K) Plans.

  • Knowledge Of Erisa And Other Relevant Laws And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Group Of Employees And Stakeholders.
