  1. Perform high-quality, accurate ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  3. Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions.
  4. Monitor and evaluate patient's condition during procedures, making adjustments as necessary to obtain the best possible images.
  5. Analyze and interpret images to identify any abnormalities or potential health concerns.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and address any concerns.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and images.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  9. Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques to provide the highest quality of care.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans based on ultrasound findings.
  11. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care.
  12. Provide guidance and support to other team members, such as trainees and students, to promote a positive learning environment.

  14. Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Graduate From An Accredited Ultrasound Technology Program Or Equivalent Education And Training.

  • Current Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) Or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As An Ultrasound Technologist, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Familiarity With A Variety Of Ultrasound Equipment And Techniques, Including Abdominal, Obstetric, Gynecological, And Vascular Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Explain Procedures And Results To Patients In A Compassionate And Professional Manner.
