- Perform high-quality, accurate ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions.
- Monitor and evaluate patient's condition during procedures, making adjustments as necessary to obtain the best possible images.
- Analyze and interpret images to identify any abnormalities or potential health concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and images.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques to provide the highest quality of care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans based on ultrasound findings.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members, such as trainees and students, to promote a positive learning environment.

- Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Graduate From An Accredited Ultrasound Technology Program Or Equivalent Education And Training.
Current Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) Or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As An Ultrasound Technologist, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Familiarity With A Variety Of Ultrasound Equipment And Techniques, Including Abdominal, Obstetric, Gynecological, And Vascular Procedures.
Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Explain Procedures And Results To Patients In A Compassionate And Professional Manner.
