Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
Interpret and analyze images to identify and document any abnormalities or pathologies.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
Educate patients about the imaging process and answer any questions or concerns.
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stay current on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Provide excellent customer service and patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.
Current Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Ultrasound Technologist, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
