Accurately process and sterilize medical equipment and supplies according to established protocols and standards.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work environment for the preparation and storage of sterile equipment.
Follow all infection control procedures and guidelines to prevent the spread of infections.
Ensure timely availability of sterilized equipment and supplies for patient care and surgical procedures.
Inspect, assemble, and package medical instruments and equipment, and perform quality checks to ensure they are functioning properly.
Keep accurate records of all sterilization processes and maintain inventory of supplies.
Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to ensure proper selection and preparation of equipment for each procedure.
Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a high level of awareness of potential hazards and safety precautions.
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on sterilization techniques, equipment, and regulations.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and patient privacy.

Job Qualifications
