Provide top-notch respiratory care to patients with respiratory conditions.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and make necessary adjustments to treatment.
Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy and nebulizer treatments.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and self-management strategies.
Document and maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team and patients to provide high-quality care.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on best practices and advancements in respiratory care.

Job Qualifications

Associate's Degree In Respiratory Care: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed An Accredited Program In Respiratory Care And Hold A Valid License To Practice In The State.
Relevant Work Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Setting, Preferably In A Respiratory Care Role, Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Respiratory Equipment And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Respiratory Equipment And Procedures, Including Mechanical Ventilators, Oxygen Therapy, And Arterial Blood Gas Analysis.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Respiratory Care Associate, The Candidate Will Be Required To Work Closely With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Tenet Healthcare Is A Large Healthcare Organization That Operates Multiple Hospitals And Care Facilities. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Handle A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Work Environment And Be Able To Adapt To Changing Situations Quickly.
