Provide exceptional care to patients with respiratory conditions by assessing, diagnosing, and treating their respiratory needs.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
Monitor and evaluate patient response to treatment and adjust as necessary.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
Administer medications, oxygen, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures.
Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the respiratory therapy department.
Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.
Keep up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and new techniques in respiratory therapy.
Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment with colleagues.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certifications.
Must Possess A Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Credential From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Respiratory Therapist In A Hospital Or Acute Care Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Current Respiratory Therapy Techniques, Equipment, And Procedures, As Well As Industry Regulations And Standards.
