  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the PCU department.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' conditions and respond to changes in their health status.
  4. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  7. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  9. Act as an advocate for patients and their needs.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in the field.
  11. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  12. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and initiatives.
  13. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle complex patient situations.
  14. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
  15. Continuously assess and improve personal and team performance to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  16. Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-stress situations.
  17. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  18. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  19. Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff.
  20. Meet all required qualifications and maintain necessary certifications and licensure.

Job Qualifications
  • Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications

  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Progressive Care Unit (Pcu) Or Similar Acute Care Setting

  • Strong Critical Thinking Skills And Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced Environment
