Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Tenet Healthcare.
Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor and document patient progress and respond to any changes in condition.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and medications.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Utilize evidence-based practices to provide the highest quality of care.
Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met.
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
Remain current on advancements in PCU nursing and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Serve as a role model for other healthcare professionals by demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and dedication.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to improve processes and enhance patient care.
Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Tenet Healthcare.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Progressive Care Unit (Pcu) Setting.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certifications.
Strong Critical Thinking Skills And Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
