Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, document changes, and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory standards.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
Uphold ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Act as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or needs they may have.

Job Qualifications

Active Rn License: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Possess An Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Neuro Icu Setting: Tenet Healthcare Is Seeking Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Neuro Icu Environment. This Experience Will Ensure The Candidate Has A Strong Understanding Of The Specialized Care Required For Patients In This Setting.
Bls And Acls Certifications: Candidates Should Hold Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications. These Certifications Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Critical Care To Patients.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: As A Prn Rn In The Neuro Icu, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Think Critically Are Essential For This Role.
Flexibility And Availability: This Is A Prn Position, Meaning The Candidate Will Work On An As-Needed Basis. The Ability To Be Flexible With Scheduling And Have Availability To Work Varied Shifts, Including Nights And Weekends, Is Important For This Role.
