As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will play a crucial role in providing critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions.   1. Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in the ICU and develop individualized care plans based on their needs.
  2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor their effectiveness.
  3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and medical history.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide coordinated and efficient care.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  6. Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patients' conditions and provide appropriate interventions.
  7. Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on patients' conditions and collaborate on treatment plans.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  9. Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and improve clinical skills and knowledge.
  11. Serve as a patient advocate and uphold ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  12. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
  13. Adhere to institutional policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations and Tenet Healthcare's code of conduct.
  14. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, staff development programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
  15. Foster a positive and respectful working environment by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and teamwork.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution

  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications

  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Intensive Care Unit (Icu) Setting

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Quick And Accurate Decisions In High-Pressure Situations
