  1. Provide life-saving care to patients with end-stage renal disease through hemodialysis treatments.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall health during hemodialysis treatments.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques and healthy lifestyle choices.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records for each patient.
  6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction.
  8. Adhere to established infection control and safety protocols.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current trends and advancements in hemodialysis nursing.
  10. Attend and participate in continuing education and training programs.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  12. Uphold the values and mission of Tenet Healthcare through compassionate and patient-centered care.
  13. Demonstrate leadership skills by providing guidance and support to other team members.
  14. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards for nursing practice.

  18. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License: The Candidate Must Have A Valid And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Where The Job Is Located.

  • Hemodialysis Experience: The Candidate Must Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Hemodialysis Unit, Preferably In An Acute Care Setting.

  • Bls Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification From The American Heart Association.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Dialysis Equipment And Procedures: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Dialysis Equipment, Procedures, And Protocols, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot And Respond To Emergency Situations.
