Job Description

  1. Coordinate and oversee patient care processes for pediatric and neonatal units.
  2. Ensure the highest quality of care for young patients and their families.
  3. Utilize leadership skills to effectively manage and guide a team of nurses.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  5. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to improve care.
  6. Conduct regular staff meetings and provide guidance and support to staff members.
  7. Act as a resource and mentor for staff, providing clinical expertise and support.
  8. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  9. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  12. Stay current with advancements and best practices in pediatric and neonatal care.
  13. Participate in continuous education and training opportunities.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare departments and facilities to coordinate patient care.
  15. Foster a positive and compassionate work environment for staff and patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Pediatric And/Or Neonatal Nursing, With At Least 1 Year In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Pediatric And Neonatal Care, Including Best Practices, Protocols, And Technology.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team.
