Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution: A Bsn Is The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Registered Nurse At Tenet Healthcare. This Degree Provides A Solid Foundation In Nursing Theory And Practice, As Well As Clinical Experience In Various Healthcare Settings.
Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment: All Candidates For The Registered Nurse - Adult Oncology Position At Tenet Healthcare Must Hold A Valid And Current Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing. This Ensures That The Nurse Is Properly Trained And Qualified To Provide Patient Care Within The Specific State's Guidelines.
Certification In Adult Oncology Nursing (Ocn): Tenet Healthcare Prefers Candidates Who Have Obtained Certification In Adult Oncology Nursing From The Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (Oncc). This Certification Demonstrates Advanced Knowledge And Specialized Skills In Caring For Adult Patients With Cancer.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience In An Acute Care Setting: Prior Experience In An Acute Care Setting Is Highly Preferred For The Registered Nurse - Adult Oncology Position At Tenet Healthcare. This Experience Provides Valuable Skills In Critical Thinking, Decision-Making, And Patient Care Management That Are Essential In An Oncology Setting.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment: The Registered Nurse - Adult Oncology Position At Tenet Healthcare Requires The Ability To Work Efficiently And Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Ever-Changing Environment. This Includes Adapting To New Technologies And Treatment Methods, As Well As Working Well Under Pressure In High-Stress Situations.
