Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment and techniques.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Follow established protocols and procedures to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
Prepare and maintain equipment for use, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
Monitor and record patient information, such as medical history and medication usage.
Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff to provide information and address any concerns or questions.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Stay current on industry developments, advancements, and best practices in radiology.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining accreditation standards.
Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Or Equivalent.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Radiology Technician In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Familiarity With Various Radiology Equipment And Technologies, Including X-Ray, Mri, Ct, And Ultrasound.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
