  1. Manage and oversee all operations and staff within the radiology department to ensure efficient and effective functioning.
  2. Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  3. Monitor and maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  4. Hire, train, and supervise radiology staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and feedback.
  5. Develop and manage departmental budgets, including monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.
  7. Stay updated on industry advancements and trends to implement innovative practices and technologies in the radiology department.
  8. Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of departmental responsibilities.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to radiology operations, patient care, and staff performance.
  10. Promote and maintain a positive work environment and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among radiology staff.
  11. Address and resolve patient and employee concerns or complaints related to the radiology department.
  12. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities to continuously improve the delivery of care.
  13. Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of radiology equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide information, answer questions, and address concerns.
  15. Lead and participate in meetings, committees, and other activities to promote the goals and objectives of the radiology department and Tenet Healthcare.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, With At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Or Managerial Role

  • Knowledge Of Radiology Equipment, Procedures, And Regulations

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team

  • Previous Experience With Budget Management And Strategic Planning In A Healthcare Setting.
