  1. Oversee the daily operations of the healthcare facility's physical plant, ensuring that it is well-maintained and functioning efficiently.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any potential maintenance or safety issues and take appropriate action to address them.
  3. Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, housekeeping, and security, to ensure a seamless operation of the facility.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, as well as any equipment and supplies used.
  5. Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of routine maintenance and repairs for the facility's equipment and systems.
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to plant operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  7. Train and supervise plant operations staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure their success in their roles.
  8. Monitor and manage inventory levels of supplies and equipment necessary for plant operations, ensuring that they are always adequately stocked.
  9. Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or urgent situations that may arise within the facility.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in plant operations processes and procedures, and implement them as appropriate.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Plant Operations: A Strong Understanding Of Plant Operations, Including Hvac Systems, Plumbing, Electrical, And General Maintenance, Is Essential For This Role.

  • Experience In Healthcare Facilities: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Facility, Preferably In A Similar Role, Is Highly Desired. This Includes A Familiarity With Healthcare Regulations And Best Practices For Facility Maintenance.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail And Identify Potential Issues Before They Become Larger Problems Is Crucial For The Safety And Functionality Of The Facility.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Necessary For This Role, As Plant Operations Associates Will Need To Effectively Communicate With Other Staff Members, Vendors, And Contractors To Ensure Smooth Operations.

  • Physical Ability: This Position May Require Lifting, Bending, And Standing For Extended Periods Of Time, So Physical Fitness And Stamina Are Important Qualifications For A Plant Operations Associate.
