- Conduct thorough patient assessments and obtain comprehensive medical histories.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans for orthopedic patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
- Assist in surgical procedures, including suturing and wound care.
- Monitor and manage post-operative care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of orthopedics.
- Provide guidance and support to medical staff and trainees.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a culture of excellence.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and conferences.
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Continuously strive for professional growth and development.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification And Licensure As A Physician Assistant In The State Of Practice.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In Orthopedics, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Proficiency In Performing Orthopedic Exams, Diagnosing And Treating Orthopedic Conditions, And Assisting In Orthopedic Surgeries.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Providers And Interact With Patients And Their Families.
